Paul Newman, rest in peace. How fitting that his last onscreen appearance, in Road to Perdition, ends as it does: "I'm glad it was you." Also, aside from his sterling acting career, I also admired him for his humanitarian work, including Newman's Own, which has donated roughly $175 million (figures vary) to charitable organizations over the years, and the Hole in the Wall Camps, named after the gang in Newman's film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, which provide a chance for children with serious illnesses to experience the joys of camping. A generous, gracious man to the end.
