synchronicity

My subconscious seems to be set on "random premonition" these days: several times of late I've had dreams that have elements in common with dreams I'll then read/hear my friends describing, days later. There's never any one overwhelming plot thread or common element; it's more like, "Oh, you had a dream where you were stuck in a car in the snow? Funny- me, too!" This odd trend would seem to have reached an apotheosis last night, when I was dreaming about talking to a friend of mine at our high school reunion... only to be awakened by a call from her. And now, off to see about getting a tooth extracted; perhaps it's just as well that I haven't had any dreams about that.
