I'd been hearing rumors of this for a while, and mentally writing it off as a prank based around his more reactionary tendancies, but no- apparently, Frank Miller really is writing a graphic novel called Holy Terror, Batman!, in which Batman fights Al Qaeda.

Also- it turns out that there's a coffee shop off of McCarron Park which was used as a location for The Departed; I walked in, and there were photographs from the shoot on the wall, including one of Martin Scorsese, posing with the owners. A nice, small movie moment.
