A belated farewell to James Lyons, who died last month of squamous cell cancer. Although Mr. Lyons did some work as an actor (he was in Postcards From America), he was best known for his editing work; he cut four films for Todd Haynes, including Velvet Goldmine (for which he co-wrote the original story). Rest in peace, Mr. Lyons.
