Feb. 21st, 2007 04:33 pmYou know, it really says something about the general state of things in Hollywood when the guy who directed Daredevil has the number one film at the box office right now, February release or no.
More pleasantly, I got a voicemail message from out of the blue last night, from someone with whom I went to film school. Loud music and conversation noises on his end made it difficult to make the message out; the easiest part to interpret seems to be about how he keeps misreading the title "300" as "ZOO", whenever he sees an ad for the film. (Actually, I've done this myself. Coming soon- Frank Miller's ZOO!)
