Apr. 11th, 2006 10:45 amThe good: I start a new job on Wednesday, that could quite possibly go perm. Exercising is going better than I'd hoped. I have a stack of ideas this high, just waiting to be transformed into the next chapter of the fic, and possibly an interlude as well. Sunday afternoon, I bought myself all sorts of tasty oddments at Garden of Eden, and had a picnic in Central Park; this was followed by running into friends at a piano bar, and buying shots for Robby, Michael and Kim Lee (lovely, lovely people who work at the piano bar I usually go to, which wasn't the one I was at that night.) MY NEW HAT (picture to follow, when I find my digital camera).
The bad: Not too damn much, except that I haven't slept well the last couple of nights, probably because of the job I start on Wednesday. Nothing too awful, although it makes writing difficult; well, at least I'm getting an early start on the day.
The...? I'm in the piano bar, talking to a friend of mine, when a saxophone player of our mutual acquaintance walks up, and decides to (lightly) clamp his teeth upon my earlobe. With a deadpan born of long practice, I wait until my friend turns back to us, and simply ask, "So, do you like my new earring...?"
