like the sun upon my face, breaking through the clouds

A brief respite today, after a sleepless night (and many thanks to all who offered sympathy, advice and tea), when I met bex69 today for lunch, since she was in town on business. Catching up on life in sunny California, her job situation, her romantic situation, and suchlike; a wonderful, happy, generous moment, sorely needed. We sat and sang along with Billy Joel, laughed over old memories, and discussed future plans; it was one more in an endless string of reminders that we're all part of the same movie here; even when you leave, you're still part of the story.
