Digression before the main thought, or a quick shout out to bloodcicle- sorry the roads sucked!- and netochka; wonderful to see you both at the Brides show. Good music, and there just aren't enough lead singers with whom one can discuss the work of Mario Bava, darn it. (and, apropos of nothing- welcome, mermaidblue!

Went into the city, to stop by a friend's job; she's had a tough week of it, and I wanted to show support. Gave her a present (and got to say hello to the Stinky-Toed one, for the first time in a while); then off to dinner, where we quietly marvelled about what sharp teeth this year has had.

So yeah, M, this one's for you; I hope the week to come is, if nothing else, less draining..
