Must remember to swing by the piano bar of a Monday more often. The pianist there (who's also there on Wednesdays) doesn't quite have Robbie's rapport with an audience, but his repertoire (Sondheim; Rodgers & Hammerstein; Pink Floyd; Led Zeppelin) is beyond reproach. The chance to sneak in a version of "Take Me Home, Country Roads" before a nearly empty bar doesn't hurt, either (practice with the mike can only be a good thing, even if my voice still sounds tenuous, damn it all).
