Hmm... well, basically- over the last few months, I'd been noticing an intermittent numbness in my hands- usually when I was leaning on them, or carrying bags whose handles would dig into my hands. At first, I didn't pay it any real attention- it basically felt as though my hands were asleep, and always went away after a few minutes. Then, it stopped going away- and got progressively worse. I work in the medical field; it's all too easy to find information on possible causes of such numbness that would range from absurd to terrifying. But, as it turns out (when I FINALLY made a doctor's appointment)... it's plain ol' stinky Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. WHEW. I'm sure there's a lesson here somewhere...
