I'm going through my books in preparation for my move at the end of August; in many cases, it's the first time I've really gone through all the boxes I packed back during the rout from California. Two crucial finds, I had long since relegated myself to having lost:
1) Volumes I-V of THE COMPLETE STORIES OF THEODORE STURGEON. These are the volumes given to me by my friends Velma (now deceased) and Soren, about which I have Feelings, beyond the treasure of the stories (and Paul Williams' story notes) themselves.
2) My high school yearbooks, tucked into one of which were some writings of mine from high school, including a rather puckish sequel to THE EFFECT OF GAMMA RAYS ON MAN-IN-THE-MOON MARIGOLDS (no, the Incredible Hulk isn't involved); a touching glimpse at younger Fred.
