coyotegothPhilip Seymour Hoffman, rest in peace. The relaxed confidence of his character The Count in The Boat That Rocked (sorry- Pirate Radio); the fumbling humanity of his Phil Parma in Magnolia; the feverish exuberance of his Lester Bangs in Almost Famous. A genius of the craft, his acting speaks for itself; I met him once at a political fundraiser, where he was gracious. This is awful. Only 46 :(
